Hi,

I've seen a supercharged 156 advertised for sale. I'm quite intrigued.

Is it a fairly common modification?
Has anyone any knowledge of a supercharged 2.0 Twin Spark?
Problems? Performance?

Thanks,

Darren.

Rare , because the Autodelta mod is expensive (circa £8K from memory) and does not add big power (like the 80 BHP I get from the Eaton on my XKR)

It takes power up to either 212bhp or 230bhp depending on the spec of the conversion.
It is a rare mod due to the cost - around 4k - 4.5k but Autodelta do know what they are doing, so I would think reliability shouldn't be too big a worry.
I would expect it to be sub 7 secs 0-60 and aught to knock on the door of 150mph
I'd want it to be a fair bit cheaper than a GTA though

Is it the red one? Seems a decent price for the year. As above the conversions about £4.5k all in.

Small World.... smile

This is my old car, which I part-x'd last year for my Saab. Prices seem to have gone up though, I paid just over half that asking price!

The car itself...when on form was fantastic (I say that for a reason....tongue out). I've had the GTA a few years ago, and performance/handling wise was very similar - obviously missing the v6 noise, but the turbo whine makes up for it! biggrin I had it resprayed front/rear due to the fading Alfa bumbers, so paint wise should be immaculate, and the interior was spotless apart from a small mark on the rear seats.

There is also a rather big "error" in the ad - I won't mention it on here as it may be a genuine mistake - if anyone wants any more info drop me a mail.
