ALFA 1600 junior,,, ALFA GTAm

HI there
im considering buying a 1972 GTAM replica
the car was originally an alfa 1600 junior

im new to alfas, are they externally the same, and so does the 1600 junior make a good base to build a GTAm replica?

i will try to post pics of the car in question. It has around 210bhp LSD and bigger brakes
