Afternoon all,

Has anyone bought these and if so, what was your experience with them like?

http://cgi.ebay.ie/ALFA147-156-GT-WISHBONE-ARM-2-X...

They seem cheap, too cheap? Would i be better of sticking with OE? Anyone got any better recommendations? My L/H Upr and Lwr are gone but i think ill replace all four while im at it.

Thanks

They look good value don't they? The suspension on my 156 is due for an overhaul, but I'm tempted to go to EB Spares and get the Harvey Bailey handling kit fitted at the same time.
Perhaps we could organise a group buy of OE wishbones instead.

Plenty of tales on alfaowner of "bargain" ebay wishbones that dont fit, or wear out after a short time.. best stick to eb spares or another reputable alfa shop. Even if you get the more expensive ones of ebay, theres a risk its just the cheap ones with a higher markup!

Had those fitted to mine and the mice came back after about 6 months. Would only fit em again if i needed to sell on and the currant ones were completely shot...

Suggest you only use genuine Alfa (but shop around, alfaworkshop, shop4parts e.t.c).

As others have said, lots of issues with fitment and wear. When you consider most people pay a garage to fit the bits, is it really worth fitting something that could potential fail in 6 months, then pay again for the Alfa bit and associated fitting.
