Alfa spider warning light

On a drive down to visit my folks I have had a warning light come on, but the handbook is back at home. I need a hand identifying it.

It's a red circle with curved lines either side, the curved lines are broken into 3 short sections.

Very similar to abs and handbrake warning, but I have identified those. Could it be the brake wear indicator? There is plenty of brake fluid in the reservoir.

Yes, its the brake pad wear light. No need to panic, there is usually a bit of meat left on them when the light first comes on.

Maybe it's warning you that there's a spider in your car...
