I was keen to try and run a common set of tyres on the GTA, but it is proving harder than I thought. First of all ( a while ago now) I needed two new Bridgestone S02's but they were unavailable, so thinking I'd move to Goodyear, I went with 2 F1 GSD3's, and moved the remaining S02's up front. These now need replacement so I thought, great; I'll get 2 more GSD3's and be sorted. Alas, just phoned around and the GSD3's are no longer made in the required size. Seems the choice is RE050A's or Pirelli p Zero's... Should I care? What is the considered thinking here.

Toyo proxes? I've replaced my gsd3s with falken 452s, but they're nowhere near as good in the wet.

Vredestein sport trac get some good reviews, but I'd check the ph tyre guide for a fwd review.

I have unfortunately now got Goodyear efficiencygrip on mine now. Very quiet tyres but the grip is no where near to the level of the GSD3's.

I have a mate who uses Bridgestone Potenza's on his GTA and swears by them.

I've been using the Potenza RE050's since I got my 147 GTA - 2.5 years, I really rate them, excellent grip in the wet and dry. I do get through them at quite a rate though.
Alot of the GTA lads on Alfaowner are raving about the Michelin Pilot Sport 3's, I'm quite tempted to try them next - they are quite expensive compaired to the Bridgestones though.
The Toyo's seem to get universally slated by the lads that have had them on GTA's - I'd always heard good things about them previously too.
