Alfa 155 winter makeover!!...............

Hi guys,
I'am after some info. After many years with Fiats and Lancia's (127/124/131/132/strada 105/130 croma turbo/ Lancia beta/and lastly Integrale evo)plus my two boys have punto's I upgraded to V8 power three years ago (vxr8). Well I have just got hold of a 155 twin spark, winter project!! Its an ex autodelta show car I believe, used to have all the decals, still has the bodykit etc. Well suprise suprise the throttle cable is sticking, stupid set up at the back of the engine. Does anyone know if there was an upgrade for this, or is it just a case of dismantling and plenty of grease, any info much appreciated..........thanks
