Hi All

Just getting my Integrale back from Walkers after some winter love and attention, and one of the jobs done is lowering the car and adding the Compomotive 17" alloy wheels. Problem is I don't know (and cannot find) which size tyres are best on the 17" wheels. I also guess Pilots are the best model.

Guidance please peoples.....

DO you know what the original size wheel and tyre combo is?

Use this http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html to calculate the correct size to keep the rolling radius the same.

Hi,
Used 215x40x17 toyo proxi on my evo, never had any issues and were quite good price wise,

cheers, paul.

I put a set of compomotive 17x8 on my evo1. They came already fitted with tyres which are 235/40/17 and too big because as they rub the inner arches!
Think most use 215 or 225 which is what i'll be swapping to when i scrub them out!

Evo2ped is spot on. 215/40/17 are the ideal size for the car. the 225's can rub the front arches to.

Cheers guys - I did call Walkers and have sadly got some 235/40/17's coming. Looks like it will be rubbing for a while! - Can they work on 235's on the back with 215's on the front to avoid rubbing?

not ideal !Dont forget being 4x4 you have to keep the front and rear diameters the same! otherwise somethings going to go bang! But im sure you already knew that?

If you check out the pics in (let us see your lancia ) you will see mine with 235/40/17's on the TH2 Compomotives..
