Warning - EBC Discs for 159’s don’t fit 100% - The disc retaining bolt cannot be installed as they have assumed it is a countersunk bolt, when actually the one that it on the car is counter borred (shoulders, not countersunk) so the disc mounting bolt hole is not recessed for Alfas bolt – result, if you take the wheels off, the discs can spin – which can be a pain in the a***.

I spoke to Bob at EBC technical, & they didn’t even realise this, just spoke to him again. This caused them a days work, but they will now modify there parts list – problem is they will not order a batch of these new ones until they have an order of 500+ to fulfil, which could take upto 6 months.

So, if you buy EBC discs during 2011, chances are they are the mk1 version, which don’t fit 100%.

It makes you wonder how exactly they have designed and tested the product if they don't know it doesn't fit properly?

You'd think that they could provide you with a suitable pair of bolts.

Anyone have any furthur info on this? I was looking at ordering some EBC discs to get sent over.
