Also on AT for less! - £3,495...
Must have close to 200k miles surely. There are exact same spec with 40k miles going for close £9k! Where's the £5k difference?
I'm scared to contact them to find out...
Bloody smart looking car though.

They re-priced all the cars so that they were temptingly low but not stupidly so, changed the mobile number and contact e-mail address on the ad (although the originals were still visible if you visited our main website) and then awaited phone calls from greedy people who were tempted to part with a £500 deposit via credit/debit card. Our salesman had over 200 phone calls on Saturday evening as people were also calling our landline, he was amazed how much convincing people took to realise it was a scam. If the scammers take just a couple of £500 deposits then it's not bad work. We rang one of the numbers and surprise surprise there was an African sounding gent on the end of the line.
They got in the site by sending us an e-mail purporting to be from Auto Trader which our secretary opened, she didn't open any links but apparently they can hack in if our Auto Trader Dealer Portal is open at the same time as the e-mail is opened. Way above my head but apparently a lot of this is going on at the minute. The old saying rings true that if something is too cheap then there is always a reason!

We are still getting calls from people a week later who saw the low priced ads and I presume printed them off now asking why the price of the cars have gone up so much (to their original price) and saying that we have contravened advertising laws! Needless to say they have been swiftly told where to go but just can't believe how naive and stupid some people are, no wonder the scammers keep persevering they must be earning a few quid! I believe if you fall for something this obvious then you deserve all you get!

The Alfa GT in the OP's post is still being advertised for £3495 on the sellers webiste and on Autotrader. Seems very suspicious they haven't they fixed it 5 days later if it was hacked, and doesn't explain the price being the same on other sites either.Gassing Station | Alfa Romeo, Fiat & Lancia | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

What benefit does that give to anyone doing that? or is it just a case of cyber-vandalism?
