V600 dreadnought at Le Mans
Discussion
Edit 1: Frankly this is the car that they should've built as the V12 Vantage S to begin with.
Edit 2: I didn't seem to realize that @wtdoom is getting one/or this one is his. In either case, I mentioned the rumored price which was a bit vulgar on my end but again did not realize that @wtdoom is an owner of a V600. A million apologizes as I would never say/or try to down play someone's purchase and pride and joy. It is gorgeous without doubt and I genuinely hope you enjoy it in good health.

I've seen several posts that state that the V600 coupe costs 1.2 million pounds and 1.4 million for the roadster. That's ridiculous even considering that it's a limited edition bespoke Q-Series car, but come on, 1.2 million for a wingless manual GT12?
Oops!
There might by something, that you seem to be unaware of.
Well done Mr. Doom !
What an amazing piece of art and engineering !
Please share impressions and pics when you take delivery !
I would have loved one, but was way out of my budget :
I am however still crazy about my " ordinary " Dogleg V12S
You, and many other great folks on P.H's, really were a great help in enabling me to take the plunge and get into the Vantage.
You were spot on when you said that is has the 911 R licked for driving thrills on the road !
Congrats on the V600 !

Edit: Never mind, yeah I didn't realize it when I posted by original post. Feel silly for posting that, but I apologized in my original post to @wtdoom. Also thank you for pointing out my stupid mistake/brain-fart/embarrassing little rant

Fantastic to see it - a great project
Now thinking of removing the side silks from my V12V and fitting the original 4.7 ones.
I love the V12V but still think my old v8 looked better.
The V600 just convinced me .
Are you attending any meets in the UK where we can see it ?
this is not my car , mines "doom grey" and will be lhd.Now thinking of removing the side silks from my V12V and fitting the original 4.7 ones.

I'm not only getting one , the idea for the car was mine . I approached Aston Martin around a year ago and propose this to them. They liked the idea so much they propose to make it into a limited run I agreed.
It's been an amazing experience I have been a part of this project through all its stages. From sketches, to clay model , sign off , wheel choice , interior design , and soon we are off to the ring for final testing. This is literally the car of my dreams .
I don't expect everybody to understand this but as I am so disillusioned with modern cars , And with a base, so perfect I didn't think there would be an opportunity to do something like this ever again. I'm just glad Aston were able to help me with this, I don't expect everybody to like it but for me it's yhe perfect car . It's been magic working with the design and engineering teams , a once in a lifetime deal .
I know it may seem a vulgar thing to many but this was not my intention , I wanted the manual , naturally aspirated v12 to get a fitting send off . Basically a vantage built with no costs or corners cut , using the best components and set up and looking just how I wanted . It's the stuff of dreams
Luckily Aston agreed .
Please don't apologise , I have very thick skin

I can definitely understand the excitement and once in a life time experience of designing your own car and working with a manufacturer to create it, hell we've all dreamt of it. And again I can understand your disillusion with modern cars as it is the reoccur song of many (including myself) on this forum, so you're singing to the choir. I'm not only getting one , the idea for the car was mine . I approached Aston Martin around a year ago and propose this to them. I meant the vulgarity is from my side, I mentioned the price on here and it was a vulgar move on my part and therefore I apologized, thank you for being understanding in any case

The car itself is done extremely tastefully, but again I can't help but think that the V12 Vantage S or the a 'touring' version of the GT12 should've been this way all along and thus more accessible to us mere mortals (myself in the secondary market).
Again, I hope you enjoy it in good health, please put some miles on it and thank you for being quite the gentleman about my idiotic indiscretion.

Out of interest with the clay modelling and the overall experience, were you allowed to take photos at all and document it?
It’s perfect and stunning! Good thing that the sills being reverted to the original was pointed out above - this decision emphasises the waist of the car very nicely.
Are the bonnet / headlight shape based on the V12 Vantage Zagato?
Not sure if they are all accounted for, but would love to use the design tools I have at my disposal to stylise the bonnet vent holes to something unique for one of the examples. It’s that sort of customisation with a factory that makes a project like this so special!

king awesome. I dont have enough organs in my body to contemplate financially attempting something like that. I wish you all the best with the new car, I hope it becomes everything you want it to be. And if you want to let me have a go in it I would be obliging
.
I suspected this would be the last platform I'd like to dream to do something on .

I expected to be laughed out of Aston martin when I suggested this project . Instead they really liked the idea and as the project progressed apparently they brass asked the designers "why didn't we think about something like this ?"
Then they asked if they could make 7 . I loved that idea as , to me it legitimises the project even more . I later suggested a convertible too , my way of giving back to the brand .
When they resurrected the v600 name I was blown away to be honest .
