I have been asked to assist i mananging the clubs website. Need to look at some instructional videos and was told before the top guy vanished for a week in the wilds Tap on the dashboard and go from there!
Trouble is what and where is the dashboard. I do not need an password so it has to be easy to find... only i cannot, and i would like to start asap
Any suggestions?

try going to your website and add /admin at the end.

e.g. www.mywebsite.com/admin

That may through up access to the admin dashboard (it is a loose may be, but hey worth a try). If successful then you would need the login details, which you would need to obtain somehow

If it's a WordPress website the default login is website .com/wp-admin or website.com/wp-login.php

Without a login/password though you're stuck! If you have access to the hosting area you can reset and add users directly in the database though.

If you have no access to the backend or hosting... Not really anything you can do.

It’s very unlikely that you can manage a website without a username / password.

It may be that theb username / password is stored on the local PC, but that won’t help you unless you’re using the same one.
