As the year has but a few weeks to run, how about a quick review of how 2010 has been for you smile
For me I'm happy to say that I've had a cracking year.

Highs:
Leaving a boring office job in England to move to South Korea where I now teach English, a job and lifestyle I love.
Started volunteering in an orphanage which is amazing!
New amazing missus.
Loads of cool holidays in Korea.
A week hooning round the Scottish Highlands in the 182.
Spending a few days hooning round Laos on an old Honda moped!
Spending a few days in Paris, a city I've always wanted to visit.
I've nearly completed my photo a day for 2010 challenge and have really got into photography this year (so much so that I'm continuing the photo a day into 2011!) - see www.flickr.com/v15ben
Being healthy pretty much all year!

Lows:
Grandad passed away, no grandparents left now!
The amount of unexpected bills on the 182 costing me a fortune. I lost a fortune when I sold it too, but still miss it.
Not having a car in Korea and having to 'enjoy' being squashed onto buses everyday.

Edited because as an English teacher I should probably be able to spell words and be able to write sentences properly!

Lows first
- Got stitched up at work and almost lost my job
- Struggling to balance work, MBA and home life
- Weight lost for the 2009 wedding is back!
- Beginning to notice the strain being overseas places on friendships - losing touch

Highs
+ Passed first anniversary and couldn't be happier
+ An amazing year of holidays

+ Survived in work and doing ok...so far

+ New woman
+ Lots of travelling, saw some amazing places this year and completely fell in love with the USA again
+ Started a new business which was terrifying and exciting in equal measure, still is!
+ New motorbike which I adore
+ Quit smoking which I never thought I could do, turns out it was easy
+ Started getting back in shape - long way to go yet!
+ Finally got one of my dream motors which I've been prattling on about for years (An american pick up truck, sad I know)
+ Visa application for the USA currently in the queue!
+ Should be getting some snowboarding in after missing last year's season. Oh and the UK getting shed loads of snow twice in the same year!!!

Lows

- New Woman
- Business was slower than anticipated to get traction, picking up now thankfully!
- Sold my dream motorbike to get something different, which thankfully I've really taken to!
- Business has eaten a decent chunk of my savings, which were going to be spent on a 911 turbo something equally ace
- Never got to go on a Petrolhead Nirvana tour, next year for sure.
- Leslie Nielsen died.
- Not seeing as much of some good mates as I'd hoped I would. Again, next year.
- GT5 is disappointing

Not much to complain about this year, just trivial stuff. It's the best year I've had in a hell of a long run of them, and I've genuinely enjoyed it.

+ Traveling to N Korea overland from the UK
+ New boyfriend smile
+ Getting more involved in charity work
+ After a slow start to the year getting very busy with work
+ Going on a ski holiday with a load of mates

Lows:
- Spending lots of time offshore or out of the country - impacting of friendships frown
- Writing off the 'winter car' at the start of the year
- Getting knocked back on a mortgauge
- Moving back in with parents

Overall a fairly good year. But not great due to always being away at work and STILL not owning my own place. Would give this year a 7/10, could do better.
