Different Air Filters...

So a bigger air filter would provide a better induction noise but have multiple drawbacks?
I didn't say that. I have no idea what induction noise has to do with the filter or what you consider 'better'.The job of the filter is to filter i.e. remove particles from the air. Filters are never perfect and they don't remove all particles. They always cause some pressure drop. The drop usually gets worse over time as the filter clogs. Being bigger usually makes it possible to filter more effectively and reduce the pressure drop and take longer to clog. But being bigger means it costs more and take up more space. That's the trade-off you face when you change the filter.
There may be people who also consider whether it changes the induction sound and whether it looks pretty, but that's entirely subjective and if that matters to you only you can say what's better or worse and what's worth paying for.

Worth noting....diesels sound s
te with a filter system where you can hear the induction noise.
Relevant seeing as your other thread is about BOV's on a diesel....
Seriously, leave the damn thing alone.
This, all over.

If you wanted to tinker you should've bought a 6-pot.
