I've got an invite for March, haven't paid too much attention as I'm lusting after rebuilding a 964 these days, but this post prompted me to look at the Porsche site and it seems no manual version is available, have I got that right?
Not available yet, but will be in due course.Looking at a few options for next Porsche, thought about a ‘T’, any views on a getting a zero option 992? Maybe just paint as most other “must haves” are standard.
My reasoning is you get so little back on options unless they are essential to you what’s the point ? ... and at that level only about 10k ibetween new 992 and a 67 plate ‘T’

My OPC’s launch event is end of Feb so maybe Demo’s will be on the road in March.
I was told demo car expected in April. OPC Sales Exec's are doing their product training in Malaga at the end of this month.

This was one thing I've been thinking. My 992 spec is 105, but a nice T is not so much more. I think overall cost of ownership with the probable lower depreciation on one of the first 992's, may mean a 992 is considerably better value over 2 years. My reasoning is you get so little back on options unless they are essential to you what’s the point ? ... and at that level only about 10k ibetween new 992 and a 67 plate ‘T’

Anyone any thoughts on crayon interior with guards red exterior? I've spec'd black but thinking it might be a bit somber.

I’ve spec’d crayon/grey interior for the same reason, black is too drab... my difficulty is whether to go with gentian blue or midnight blue. The only pictures I’ve seen are from the LA motor show and the studio lights are a bit different to daylight I think.

Thanks for the link, Ninemeister are very good and on my list, just a long way from devon. Pleased to know that manuals are still on the menu, my last pork was a 992S with PDK and though brilliant I just don't get the point, unless i was tootling in traffic all day, in which case I just don't get the point but each to their own.Do not look at this link. The crayon interior is beautiful. However I've never seen it on a guards red car so can't comment on how it suits. I've seen it on Agate Grey and black cars and it was a wonderful combination.
Also beware, it does mark easily, however if you give it some attention it'll be fine. Beats a boring black interior any day.
