Service Costs: 981 GTS / S
Discussion
Thought I'd pop this on a new thread as I'd noticed a few comments around service costs hidden away on the now colossal GTS thread!
I have a late 2014 981 Cayman GTS with c.55k miles (highest mileage GTS possibly?! Gotta enjoy it!).
It's been serviced twice already by the previous owner based on mileage, including 2 brake fluid changes. What comes up next is the following:-
- Spark Plugs due at 4 years (note, there is no warning for this one from the car computer and I went overdue 2 months without having a clue!)
- Minor service due on timing (2 years or 20k miles since last service)
- Brake Fluid due on timing (2 years or 20k miles since last service)
- Replace Drive Belt/ Air Filter due on mileage (6 years or 60k miles since last service)
Having spoken to several OPCs the costs can vary significantly and even the 'fixed price' service menus are different and not standard across the network (also these are sometimes very difficult to find and hidden away on websites).
Here's a summary of the various prices I've been quoted:-

Incidentally the cost of simply buying 6 spark plugs is £114.26 - as one of the OPCs accidentally quoted me without fitting
Anyway, hope that helps someone, somehow!
Cheers
