Looks like a solid bargain buy there dude. Very nice. I've not seen a mk2 interior before and bar the leather I think I prefer it to my mk2.5, my cream/chrome dash dials are touch 'flouncy' compare to the black on yours.
Have you checked out the chassis rails for rust? Be good to confirm that they're solid, if so that's bargain of the week

No rust on the rear arches or sills?
If not, you've been very lucky.
Pretty little car. Mine is lost in action with an ex girlfriend who retained it after we split up.
No infact. I was amazed. If not, you've been very lucky.

Think yourself lucky. I lost my 2012 Fiesta Zetec S to mine which I am still paying for.
I would seriously advice properly checking the front chassis rails. To do this you have to take the front wheel arch liners out otherwise you can't actually see or feel the areas that rust.
I was recently doing a suspension refurb on mine and had to take the liners out and was shocked to find what I thought was solid was just rusted rubbish. Whilst the chassis rails aren't a major structural point they are your crumple zone, and rust isn't good at absorbing energy.
