2 x McLaren F1s

and plenty more

As far as I know it's still David Clarke - that's pretty public information.

"still" David Clarke, who is he? I thought it was Dodi that owned it when it raced?

I remember watching a documentary on the car leading up to Le Mans.

He was the sales director for the road cars at McLaren - as far as I know he's had the car for some time.

Drool!
We saw that GT40 in a petrol station on our way down to Le Mans, sounded amasing as it pulled away.

Hi there,

Was supposed to be heading down to this but just didn't get my finger out in time.

Started kicking myself about a minute ago and don't expect it to stop for a long time yet.

3 x California Spiders - don't think I will ever get over missing these.

Thanks for the pics.

Regards

Tim

We followed it home tru a couple of tunnels in Rouen, made the Le Mans Corvettes sound like diesel pugs!

What GT40? There isn't one in the pictures (oh no there isn't before someone points out the Orange Ford GT).

Hi there,

Its a Lancia Zagato Hyena, here some blurb from the net: -

"The Hyena was a project by the Italian coachbuilders Zagato which was intended to prove they could be a manufacturer again. The Zagato Hyena was based on the Lancia Delta Integrale platform, but with a two-door coupe body.

Under the carbon fibre and Kevlar rounded body of the Zagato Hyena lay the same drivetrain as the Delta Integrale, a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder which developed 260 horsepower, mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox driving all four wheels. This setup gave the Zagato Hyena a top speed of 144 mph, and a 0-60 mph sprint time of around 5 seconds.

A production run of 100 Zagato Hyenas was originally planned but the actual production run finished after 26 cars were constructed."

Hope this helps.

Tim

The Hermes Veyron really is hurl Beige and Bugatti really are uncomfortable bedfellows.

Looks like many of the same cars as at Goodwood! Too many borrowed from dealers and the event is light years behind Pebble Beach or the Villa D'este Concourse.

These cars can be seen every day in Mayfair / Marylebone, Chelsea, Surrey or Manchester.

Come on London you can do better than this!!! 5/10.

I initially thought it was some sort of SZ special, but then spotted the Lancia badge! Thanks for the info.

Nope! They didn't release any for sale, they're all owned by Daimler Benz, they have about 7 in boxes at Mercedes Classik in Fellbach. I think its a Vector.
