As with George, even thoughj I am a 37 year old man i am not allowed one either!

Never appealed to me really, more a fan of open topped motoring/cafe racing. I was born in the wrong era, wrong country and wrong social class. I should have married Grace Kelly and we'd have been whizzing round the Riviera in my Dino...

I'm not allowed one weeping so watching them race about is the closest I can get. I love MotoGP even more than F1. There's a little 46 sticker on every car (and a 58 on one) that I've ever owned smile

I'm going to the TT for the first time this year biggrin Can't wait, my view is, see it as soon as you can before those health and safety wkers ban it.

No.46 -yep, you've got to love Valentino Rossi - what a star! We love the bikes too. Never made it to the TT but you're right - H & S are going to put a stop to it one of these days so get there while you can. Bet the atmosphere will be fantastic - don't recall meeting a biker I didn't like!!

Lewis, what's the matter with motorised bicycles - I love 'em, especially classic ones smile

Oooh I like Nortons, and that looks a lovely one you have there smile

Great garage too Mr. S. I love the big AML badge above the door, where did you get it if you don't mind me asking smile

Any sign of agreeing a date before we all get booked up for other stuff?

Hi Mikey, I still favour Sunday 15th July, so a stopover on Saturday for those that fancy it ready for a comfy start to the day on the Sunday.

Am giving much thought to the route and we are popping over the border for a night in mid Wales in March for a bit of a recce.

Have contacted The Green Man at Fownhope and they say that yes, given enough interest, they would talk a deal on group rates (or something like that) and they have a nice separate dining room that would be great for a Saturday night social!

My pleasure your Lordship!

We want to do some great driving routes in the AM so where better to start than with a run from our locality into the great stuff that's just over the border. Funny how much more one appreciates Wales as one gets older. Couldn't understand my parents wanting to go there when I was a kid - I just insisted it was a dull place where it always rained (and it doesn't - honest)!

That looks like its in great condition, looks like one of the first Commandos - a 1969? I have a 1970 in my garage that I've had for 35 years, been all over europe on it, they are great bikes.

Looking like I might be able to get one soon, just sadly not for road use. A few of my friends do a lot of track days on bikes I'm hoping to get one either later this year or next to tag along smile

Something like one of the CBR600s that we had there will do me perfectly (until I can afford that Ducati anyway evil ). Not perfect but at least it's one step closer to a road bike! biggrin

Spot on Michael - 1969smile

Much to Lady S's dismay at times I'm a bit of a perfectionist and like everything (especially my vehicles) just so.
