Really? That was one of my highlights.
Go for it!
I think it's a gorgeous looking thing and surprised Guzzi haven't brought one out already to compete with Triumph.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MOTO-GUZZI-V7-SCRAMBLER-...

Just got back, really good show this year. Seemed to be loads more bikes on display than previous years.
Thought the Superduke 1290 was really disappointing. Build quality wasn't great, and it doesn't really have much presence. It's pretty tiny. The 1190 ADV is lovely though seriously nice.
BMW's stand was great, made a real effort with loads of rare older models on display. The S1000R naked is lovely, genuinely could see myself owning one at some point. Build quality is good and it actually seems pretty good value. My Dad was very very disappointed with the new R1200RT though, won't be changing his 2007 model. The NineT is stunning in real life, but overshadowed a bit by the standard R1200R.
Not hugely interested in the Japanese stuff but apart from Honda's amazing monkey bike they weren't half looking dull compared to the Euro bikes. Aprilia especially are looking very convincing. The RSVR is utterly brilliant.
The new Indians are great, and plenty of (very pneumatic) fitties. Anyone who's been to the Victory stand will know exactly what I mean...
Interesting. My dad also was disappointed about the new RT was going up 90% chance of buying one and upgrading from his 2010 bike. Will wait until he's ridden one for certain, but it's not looking likely!Thought the Superduke 1290 was really disappointing. Build quality wasn't great, and it doesn't really have much presence. As a new owner of the 1190 Adv, i can say it is without doubt, probably the finest bike KTM have produced. I have always been a bit withering in my opinion of KTM road bikes, especially in regards to their fit and feel, but the new Adv is a stunner.Great quality, great components and a really well thought out bike.
There's a coupel of annoying niggles that only owning one will bring up, but overall, it's a stonking bike, and 150bhp is silly on a bike of this type. Fun, but silly.
We're taking a trip up through East Africa in the New Year, so there'll be a full write up and report with pics.
But so far, definately made the right choice.
