Hi,
Siren on my car had stopped working, so hearing it was common fault just ordered one. Pulled the plug on the old one last night and pushed the wires of the new one into the plug (no connector on new one) before I went to the trouble of unbolting it and soldering the plug on, and still no noise :-)

I seem to have earth and 12 v on two of the wires fine, and the 3rd wire seem to be pulsing different voltages which I guess is the signal wire.

Am I missing anything obvious (need leaving connecting to charge the battery ?), is there an easy way to test ?
Cheers,
Rob.

Now working... think it does need few seconds to charge the batteries, so was probably a combination of poor temp connection not connecting long enough to allow that.

For info this was a direct replacement bought for £65, and was identical to orginal unit except there was no plug fitted (think I posted a link a couple of weeks ago).
Rob.

The plug is fitted by Noble, I swopped mine for a waterproof version.
