still slight smell

I am basically at the point where the car is perfect.... everything works ( heater sill stuck on low...- ok, as long as I have the vents on )
but the smell.....
not raw gas smell. kinda greasy smell could be exhaust... only with a window open ( either/or)
or the roof open. as soon as there is negative pressure in the cockpit thhe smell gets sucked in..
i sniff around and cant even pinpoint where it is coming from the engine does not have the smell, and with the side covers off i still dont smell it..

I am stumped,,, I have gone over the vacuum and gas vapor lines with a fine tooth comb. nothing wrong

Could it be from the front of the car, power steering leak or oil cooler, OK clutching at straws here but with all the lines running underneath the car you never know
