PH Scottish Independence Referendum

Since there has been a huge amount of bhing and mud slinging on the other thread (surprise surprise) I thought it would be interesting to see how the great PH population would vote in a referendum for Sottish Independence.
Fire away, and try not to start the bigotry, that goes for both sides!

I did think about stipulating that, but then how would you ensure that happens? Hence the 3rd option for the Englishers

That depends. Can one country unilaterally withdraw from the union, or do all nations have to agree?

I think the referendum should be UK-wide. We should all be able to determine the future shape of the UK.

Can we have an option that is "I'm english and want rid of scotland"

As i feel alot of english folk blame scotland entirely for the failings of the UK and belive everything would be fine without scotland with their horrible citys like sheffield, liverpool, newcastle, manchester and Birmingham

Who cares who they blame? If it wasn't the Scots it would be someone else.

Look at history. They're always blaming someone for their own failings.

The problem with an independant Scotland at the moment is that the dominant political parties up here are both left wing socialist scum.

Scotland could probably stand on it's own two feet with a decent right wing government. I mean, 1 out of every 4 people are employed by the state up here in quangoland.

The SNP want to change the council tax (bad as it is) to a local income tax.

Brilliant, more tax to pay for the wealth creators and even more bloated public sector plonkers to be subsidised.

The workshy get off scot free as usual.
