Any clue about origins of the "large" radiator ?

Hi guys,

does anyone have some clues about the large radiator mouted on the late M serie cars ?
Is it fro the MK1 Capri fitted with the Essex?

Would like to replace mine for a new or properly recored/unpgraded (possibly aluminium) unit.
