Seen these recently advertising the upcoming Cars 2 movie. Love them, so much attention to detail. Love the Aston Martin DBR9 in the London poster and the first Porto Corsa poster reminds me of my 1935 Monaco poster print by Georges Hamel.

Nice thumbup

Let's hope it's a good film, the first one is a bit of a grower. I didn't really enjoy it the first time I saw it but on each viewing it seems to get better.

The first movie is a grower. My 3 year old daughter likes it too. So gives me an excuse to go and see it at the cinema. Love the idea of Michael Caine playing Finn McMissile the James Bond type character.
Lets hope it's good.

Any idea where I could buy some of those posters? My 4 year old son loves Cars and they would be a great way to brighten up his bedroom.

My lad (just short of 3 years old) is addicted to anything with cars. I picked up a couple of little Burago kits this morning and sat down in the lounge with him to make them .... cue an afternoon of him going "brrrrrm, brrrrrrm .... CAR!".

The films are more than just growers - they're typical Pixar films that appeal equally to the younger and older generations in equal amounts.

I love the "little" things - the vapour trails/clouds are tyre tracks. The mountains behind Radiator Springs are the tail ends of older american motors.

Cars 2 will definitely be a very, very good film. And I'll be forced to go the cinema to see it, then on DVD/Bluray release I'll have to sit down and watch it on repeat all weekend. Hard life being the father to a young pistonhead ....
