Will be 6 years this June, enjoyed every minutebiggrin,

Never let me down & still brings a smile to my face, especially after a good 'spirited drive'...;)

I must admit to never having turned the tc off. When I first got the car the amount of torque steer it was exhibiting was a a bit of a surprise (with sport mode off) so I would rather leave the tc on. What doesn't help is that the run flats don't appear to have a lot of grip or I haven't quite got the confidence in it's abilities yet.

I completely understand where you're coming from, and agree with you that the runflats don't grip too well, once they are worn out i'm going onto regular tyres, took me a few months before i had the confidence to turn it off,but getting used to it more now biggrin

Does anyone know much about the Traction control and DSC on the Mini?

Is there a way of turning off the TC but leaving the DSC active?

As I'm finding sometimes simply trying to make a swift pull away and the TC just kills the power, leaving you in the middle of the road. but don't really want to roll all the time with the DSC off
