Going to use some of the stuff next week as I have some crtacking around one of the holes that the seat bolts go through on the floor. Any tips, never worked with the stuff before

Hi Steve
First thing Preparation,fibreglass resin won't stick to dirty material, glean down with a rough sanding disc, clean an area of about 6" dia until you have removed all the old top surface / dirty material, cut some glass into circles and glass in. When you mix the resin if its hot use a bit less.
You could get some big washers and stick them in to give it a bit more strength.

Thanks Alan, I have washers but didn't think about sticking them in the resin, great idea

IMO "sticking the washers 'in' " is a mistake. When they rust they will split the grp.
Complete the repairs as suggested and stick washers either side with adhesive.

When I refit the seats should I use a washer above or below the carpet? They are chim seats
