Hi

Well with 70 days to go we thought you deserve an update on what we have planned for the day. I apologise in advance because it's a long update!

Martin Lilley has been invited but as of today we have not had conformation if he coming!

TVR Car Parts are sponsoring BBWF this year! (Thanks Richard and Neil)

The event will start at 10 am for those of you who come for just the day, for the rest of us the event start's anytime on Friday and will end some time on Sunday (More about that later)

The traders/displays who have confirmed they are coming are.

They will be bring various "Wedge" related items for sale (See other post ref Kick plates.) They will also be prepaired to discuse on the day what else we would like for our cars from them in the future!

Furtiture Clinic.
The local franchise are going to do some demos of there products and services. (A sample of which will be in the charity raffle Sat night.)

Chips a Way.
The local franchise are going to have three technicians there doing some demos and are looking for a few cars/wheels to work on. (This is an opportunity to get those niggle areas repaired at a specail show price, please contact me for more details!)

Car Valeting.
A Local valeting company are planning on doing a demo or two. (Any car having there car valeted on the day will not be eligable for the Concourse competition, Rat one yes concourse no!)

Rolling Road.
Book your time on the road when you get there!

Auto Jumble area.
This area is for you to display/sell your unwanted "Wedge" items (Or you can just do it out of the boot of your car!)

ACT.
They may be there, it just depends on other commitments!

A few other companys have show interest in coming but have yet to confirm 100%
DC Trim. (Blackpool)
TVR Power!
RT Racing!

Plus a few who have not even bothered to reply to the invitation/request, they may turn up on the day but who knows.
They are:
Absolutley Shocks.
Steve Heath.

TET Mouldings.

Now when you arrive you will be presented with the usual mug which will have the TVR Car Parts logo and of course the BBWF logo on it!
Included with the mug will be various ideas for things to do and what's happening during the day.

So far we have:

The Run out during the afternoon.
This is Adams idea of how to get as many "Wedges" lost around Stratford upon Avon area!

Competitions:

Concourse.
Loudiest "Wedge"
The V8 car with the best BHP. (On rolling road.)
The V6 car with the best BHP. (On rolling road.)

Plus details of the raffle, and other things happening on the day!

Once you have your bag of goodies you will be then asked to park up (How and were is yet to be decided)

We will have various items for sale, Clothing, (Details of these will be on another forum post later this week) stickers, and other items which have yet to be finilized. This stall will also double up as the control and information point. So if you need any assistance go there!

BBWF Tea and Coffee stall.
We had a few comments from last years event about the lack off refreshments so we are having a stall serving tea and coffee, which the profit from the small amount charged will go towards the Charity!

Then off course the main attraction the cars!

The event will finish around 5.00 pm

Saturday Night.
For those staying over night Saturday (A few rooms are still avaliable but you need to book NOW!) we have the Hog roast, (We need you to book for this sooner than later, so we know what size pig Mark has to go and run over.)

Free Disco.
The High light of the evening the Charity auction and raffle.

Sunday.
Sunday is going home day or you can go on a visit to the Heritage Motor Center were a discount entry rate has been negotiated for the day! They also have the Leyland Society Rally on that day so there will be a lot to see!
More about this in a later forum post!

Well that the update.

If we have any changes I will post them up!

Andy.
