Go no idea what aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and those settings on the wheel that says AV, TV and M.

You've wanted to get your camera off of the P setting for a while but didn't know what they all did.

AV (A) for portraits
TV (S) for race shots
ISO - lower for less noise
M for experts

Lol! Loving the gross over-simplification! Hehehe.

It's a fun little tool that. But for those who like something a little more tangible, try a magazine called 'Digital SLR Magazine'. If you know little or nothing about shooting with a DSLR it's brilliant. It's not for people who know exactly what they should be doing with their apertures, shutter speeds and ISOs etc etc etc, but for beginners it's ideal.

I just tinker with the settings until I get what I'm after. Sometimes use auto to get me a starting point and go from there.

Isn't just messing about part of the fun?
