I'm quite happy to give this a whirl next time I do a shop, but has anyone tried it yet?

If it's no better than any other instant I won't bother...

It's no better. Very smooth though. Would be gutted if I payed full price for it.

What's it like after the tin has been open a few days/week?

Same as any other instant I suppose. Really isn't much difference.

not bad and quite good for £1.99.

Not a patch on proper coffee, but good desk coffee at work when I only have access to hot water and no plunger doo daa anymore.

really should go and get another one but this way I dont have to clean up the mess and I can enjoy proper stuff at home, plus not sure its worth it for the 2 mugs I have a day and no fridge to store the ground coffee.

Anyone know where I can get bags of coffee beans from I want just the beans and not a name attached to them so not wanting to pay a premium.

I've got to agree here...I bought a tin today and it's lovely stuff...much nicer than the Maxwell House swill we usually get...although when the teamaker returns tomorrow and finds a different coffee brand...I might be for it!!!

hehe

Yeah I have it at work and it's fine in the absence of the real stuff. Fine, that is, for £1.99. Not sure I'm going to fork out four quid for it when the offer's over.

I've been using coffee-direct.co.uk for a while now, well priced and proper stuff. They'll do you weights of beans or ground as required.
