I have a standard 4.0HC with sleeved exhaust which gave a healthy 220BHP last year>

Just had
ACT smooth bore induction kit,and carbon fibre flared trumpets fitted
SC Power plenum spacer and heat gasket fitted.
New manifold gaskets but left cats in place.

Would you do a rolling road set up to recheck fuelling etc,or should the original setup be ok as the modifications are small?

What is the car like with the ACT kit? Can you compare it to stock?

You don`t need SC Power plenum spacer on your 4l engine the trumpets help and the insulator gasket..Your paying a fortune for a bit of a gasket..send it back!

Well, thats not what Tim told me at ACT,the spacer increases the volume in the plenum while the flared trumpets cover more area...in his words the flared trumpets and spacer were the best combination>

Same mods on mine and it certainly made it smoother.

At the end of the day if the car is now more pleasurable to drive you have achieved a worthwhile result.

Go on Mark stick it on the rollers, I doubt you will see much of a power increase but it will be interesting to see.

PS: The Wedgies are up to their old tricks again, cheese on my car, I ask you rolleyes

Raceproved in Sheffield, if you went to the open day last week you could have had it done for free ;-)
