Specialist one off insurance for C5

Hello everyone,

For this years Le Mans I decided to borrow the C5 off my dad. Unfortunately, A Plan have changed their rules this year and they require the driver to be 28. I am 27 and although I have used the car many times before they wont insure me on it.

Can anyone recommend an American car insurance specialist that would be able to provide temporary EU cover please? I want to go through a company that is used to dealing with this type of car/situation.

Checkout the www.corvetteclub.org.uk website and look for the membership benefits page as they list all of the insurance companies that give a club discount. You should be able to find one that will insure you.

You should also be aware that the French police have declared war on drink driving and speeding so be on your best behaviour if you do take the C5, otherwise you may not be bringing it back!

True true, they didnt complain when I drove the xjr down when I was 19 though
