My BMW Service History Check - not happy!!
Discussion
I've not rang back no because it costs silly money
Was just hoping there are a still a few lads on here who could check
The inspections have definitely been done because the dealers who have seen the car said they would not do a simple oil change if it were due an inspection.
Just need them to interrogate their system

Customers can override dealers suggested maintenance schedule. If a customer comes in and says I know it's due an inspection 2, but I want it to be oil change only, the dealer will oblige and mark the service book accordingly (i.e. work done and stamped up as oil change only).
Is your book stamped up correctly?

BMW can only give you a list of dealership visits. It's up to you to contact said dealerships, if you've done that and nobdoy says they've done an Inspection 1 then, well, nobody has done an inspection 1.
The above is not always true. I kept being told the same thing but when you push them a bit or kick up a fuss they have to look into it and hey presto, what you are told is impossible magically becomes possible. Gassing Station | BMW General | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
