BMW clubsport..........updated pics.

Previously posted on here a poor quality camera phone pic, so after a good wax and polish i've taken some better pics to post.
2003 BMW 330ci Clubsport (66K) in Carbon black which is a very very rare colour in this model( possibly 1 of 6 registered in the UK). Usually found in Titanium silver, Estoril blue and velvet blue.I've yet to see another advertised so if anyone else on here has one please get in contact.

I've seen worse too, in fact I've owned worse (MG Metro pepper pots on a Mini spring to mind) but that car would look so good on OZ Ultraleggeras or some BBS split rims it seems almost criminal

Had some BBS LMs on my last E46 so fancied something different, i've always loved ACs so decided on those. There is so much choice in wheels out there simply because people have different visual preferences.I think Oz Ultraleggeras would look terrible ( but looked fab on my Clio V6).

AC Schnitzer always do split opinion, I personally like them as you don't see them every day However, although I love the E46s, I never really got why they added the tiny spoiler on the back, it didn't really suit the rest of the car imo! Must say though, the car looks very smart

What would you do once they got in contact; I'd imagine after the 'I've got a black 330i clubsport'....'so have I', there wouldn't be too much else to talk about?!

Anyway, nice car, I agree with the others about the wheels though, the standard ones are pretty nice and exclusive to the clubsport(?) anyway so why change them?

I love the wheels - very marmite. Purely because I like to see the big brakes behind the wheels, but it would look better with nice 6 pot AP's up front

Black clubsports are rare because they were not available to buy from UK main dealers. The fact that yours is Black but UK registered means somebody ordered it from Gemany in UK right hand drive and it would have come with just two years warranty from new. Reason why I know this is because I ordered an estoril blue one from German it cost me £29k when they where going for £36k from UK dealerships in 2002. I ordered mine in Black then changed my mind at the last minute to go for the blue!

I don't hate the wheels like some others appear to, however think it would look so much better back on a set of the standard clubsport wheels. It's the unique wheels to the model that make the car what it is from a visual perpective.

Yes you are correct, it was not ordered from a UK main dealer but sourced in Europe. It was registered new in the UK (not import). I'm not trying to say it's worth more but just makes it a rarer sight if you know your onions! I personally love the colour. Original Clubsport alloys generally tend to corrode badly and i had a similar problem with some BBS alloys in the past, however i still like these wheels and they will be marmite in opinion. Anyway off out in a bit to take it for it's oil service tomorrow.

Forgive my ignorance, what/how does the Clubsport version differ, stripped interior, suspension upgrades? Would be interested to learn of the spec. Thanks
