Right. -Voting. Sorry about the delay and having poll making spaz earlier.

We'll close the voting on Friday night.

And by the power vested in me by Greyskull, the delay in sorting the poll means that I will allow madbadger's entry given that the dish was made within the time but posted late.

The best of way of eating cheese is with nice bread and butter - I should have entered.

Ciabatta pizza for me, easily the nicest home made pizza possible, you can put all sorts on it, never had a failure.

That tart really does look incredible. I need to manufacture something for the next comp then!

Some lovely entries this time. Unfortunately I haven't really had time/inspiration this time to cook plus Bob doesn't really liked cheese except on a pizza and they are best made by him. I've voted for TomE as I liked his ingredients and would love to have tasted it.

Nailbiting. Steward's Enquiry? wink

I always realised that my choice of additional ingredient would put a lot of people off: nettles exist for dogs to cock their legs on, and to clog alleyways so that children can't pass.

Yet they are delicious when cooked, moreover, free.

NB: Mine are harvested from privately-owned land (no dogs) and well washed before cooking wink

***Cooking Competition Community Announcement***

I'm off to Devon (Wiscombe Park hillclimb) straight after work and am unlikely to be anywhere near some internet until Sunday night.

So if anyone's expecting me to formally call the winner at midnight tonight. -I won't be able to -lying in a tent unconscious, surrounded by empty beer cans and tired-looking inflatable ladies.

So I need to delegate this crucial admin task.

To anyone really.

Thanks

God save the Queen.

Think I might have just swayed the vote though.....

Been following the comp over the last few weeks so I might try and get involved this time.
