Engine change, need advice please??
Discussion
The answer to your question will be somewhere between a piece of piss and impossible dependent on your Levels of skill, Availability of equipment,
Availability of parts, If none of the previous are available your ability to pay someone to do it for you.
They obviously fit but you need to consider crossmember, gearbox, propshaft
tunel clearance, clutch (cable as opposed to hydraulic), cooling, brakes etc etc
All the normal stuff involved in replacing a small engine for a bigger one.
good luck though

It'd be a lot easier to change to a 1.6 xflow.
You may need to source a different sump and will need slightly longer exhaust downpipe - the 1.6 block is about 1" taller then the 1.3 - and check the gearbox input shaft is compatable with the new engine's flywheel. Apart from that everything else is interchangable and it's an easy swap.
If you go down that route talk to Burton Performance first and make sure your source a block with 711M cast on the side.

Mk2 mwxico had the pinto as well as the RS2000, the RS1500 was based on Xflow block
You'll need to cut the front panel to fit a rad with the pinto as well as finding RS parts that carry RS tax
As for the DVLA just send off an official looking letter with the correct cc, 1993 by the way for a pinto 2.0 and head the "recipt" with some garage name, they don't (not yet after 9 leters) contact the garage they just want to know if it will affect the road tax level, which obv it wont but the DVLA are too thick to relaise and ask for it anyway
