Todlers and convertibles...
Discussion
Myself and the Mrs were due to take some friend's two toddlers to Chester Zoo a few years ago in my A4 convertible. Not only could we not fit either of the pushchairs in the boot, we also couldn't fit either of the far too chunky child seats in the back without breaking their legs. This was in a car that could be viewed as a sensible convertible.
By all means get one, just not sure it could be used as an only car.
Once Mrs Sb has got her breeder wagon, I'll be saving up to get another A4 or similar.

Never had the roof down in the first 2 years of my sons life, sorta wished I'd waited a little longer but I don't really regret it.
Although these days I have the roof down as much as possible.
The only down size is the boot space.
You're not meant to put your son in the boot!Although these days I have the roof down as much as possible.

He has a very nice ferrari toddler seat to sit in (couldn't find a Lamborghini one
)Macho posturing aside, try travelling in the back of a 4-seater convertible, it's considerably less comfortable than travelling up-front (think wing-walking). Also, lifting toddlers into a rear car seat in a 2-door car will put you on first-name terms with your local chiropractor.
