I have been invited on my companys annual golf day at a prestigious club on the outskirts of London. There will be a lot of customers and partners there for the day.

My question is this: should I take the Tuscan or will it look a bit too flash?

I'm leaning towards taking it as after all once I pull up I'll park it and leave it until I go home so nobody will know it's mine. Some of my partners know I have the Tuscan but I've never driven it when I've been to meet them.

What do you guys think? Have you done something similar before?

It is a difficult decision, I took mine to a meeting last week. I have to say that although it is hardly inconspicuous but I have never had any bad comments. They are not expensive cars (relatively), and they are very emotive!

I would take it, it is a great ice breaker!

You wont get a set of clubs in a Tusc, that's what the Chimaera was invented for!

LOL! Ah but you can sir. I put mine in the boot of the Tuscan the other day when I popped up the range. Didn't even have to take the driver out as I used to have to in previous cars.

The Tuscan is a GT in that respect - big boot

I take mine to golf courses all the time.... Always amuses me to see Ferrari 355s on golf club car parks, wonder where they put the clubs and electric trolley ??? smile .
Tuscan is OK for clubs, but got to agree my Chim is better..My record in the Chim is two people with luggage, two sets of clubs, two electric trolleys and batteries and the roof in the boot.

I would take it (am doing the same with mine today for work do), but I will park in a quiet corner and not be too up front about arriving and leaving.

IMO its part of what they are for. Some people will think you are a flash git, some will want to talk about it and sit in it, others wont give a damn either way.

It's tough to arrive under the radar as golf club drive ways present the perfect opportunity to rumble in in 2nd gear allowing the revs to drop to around 2900rpm unleashing the pops and bangs from the CCC's biggrin

Everybody then knows you've arrived!

My Boss always asks me to attend dinners etc in my Tuscan, especially if the Italians are in town. Thats when I'm expected to take people out in it or ferry people back to hotels etc.
Great excuse for some fun and they cover my petrol.

This is where we differ, I would be sideways into the car park with the decats popping and banging. Might explain why I am currently unemployed! Bosses are transient, winning is forever wink

Looks the decision has been made then, next thought will have to be "what model Cerb" do you go for. Must admit to looking at the prices for Cerbs myself.

Oh..and for the OP, go in the Tuscan, i always regret not taking it somewhere cause i think it may cause a stir or get damaged...lifes too short not to use them!

For the record I did take it and it got lots of admirers! No issue with customers. Even managed to stand out among the Porsches, Bentley's and Ferrari's in the car park which was no mean feat! And of course I did ensure it popped and crackled ads much as possible up the driveway to the clubhouse evil

thing is that the question should be : with what kind of handicap can i make my entrance in a tuscan on the carpark of a golfcourse.
it's yust like the skislope. waring the nicest and newest clothes normally means that youre a beginner and you're eager to show it to everybody
handicap should at max 15 (and a left leg) and to make it even better !
driving a tuscan should only be permitted to hard or long hitters (250 meters +)
rens :0))
