just put my car in for a check up and was given a boxster s as a courtesy car. not a bad effort, smooth, firm ride etc.... but for sake... why do they go and wreck it all but putting a tiptronic gearbox in it? talk about numbing the senses... the delay for kickdown and responsiveness in hopeless. unless you're a women that finds it difficult to cope with three pedals, what are 5 legitimate reasons for having tiptronic over manual (and urban driving is NOT a valid reason)... you have to be a muppet to get tiptronic IMHO.

1. Clutch in the manual is too stiff to drive in high heels
2. Stop start driving on the motorway's much easier.
3. You don't need to move your passengers head from your lap when changing gear (handy during oral sex)
4. Relaxed kickdown overtaking on the motorway.
5. don't chip your nails when moving the gear stick.

High heels, chipped nails... and oral sex. Either a hint of the hamaphrodite here, or a very very long tongue

Mainly bought be people who either can't drive a manual for medical reasons or city people with traffic to contend with. Or just personal preference.
