Re-covering the targa (internal)

Has anyone re-covered the "leather" on a targa roof? If so was it easy and where do you buy the self adhesive(?) stuff?
I imagine its tricky to do but mine is not looking its best. I need to replace the seals too so that it does not leak.

I believe the "leather" is "Ambla" (or similar) and you can get it from the kind of shop your missus takes far too long in buying curtains, cushions and haberdashery
I got some recently from Dunelm which has branches all over although I suspect others will probably have bought their material from an auto-restorer as advertised in classic car mags etc.

the material is not self adhesive as far as i remember, you need to buy an aerosol upholstery glue which is cheap enough, but be careful, its stickier than ten sticky things so make sure you buy some solvent too and wear goggles when applying it... seriously !

Yes did mine, sourced the material from NE Trimmers Newcastle and also the fabric edging tape (just realised still got loads of that)I got enough to do a practice area and it was worth it. Thought I was fairly dextrous but the glue got everywhere, secret is to use as many G clamps as poss with bridging strips between them to hold material in place while you smooth it out. OH and preparation is everything, get all the original glue off first but it is a PITA.
