Hi Guys

I went to check the air pressure in the tyres on my Golf in its first run since passing its MOT.

When I got the wheels balanced Kwik Fit fitted those chrome stem protectors and caps.

The air machine wouldn't fit on the valves due to the stem protectors being there. I tried pulling them off quite hardly, but to no avail.

Is there a technique to getting them off? Thought I had better ask before I start attacking them with the pliers and ruin the tyres smile

Attack with pliers carefully. The rubber stem underneath isn't that tough.

Thanks guys.

Tried the pliers but no joy, so I shall return to Kwik Fit and ask them to remove.

I bet they are nitrogen filled and you will need to pay for them to be topped up wink
