First off, Craig if this is stepping on anybodies toes, I'll withdraw the offer as I'm only offering as I enjoy doing this sort of thing!

I'll be passengering my way to my first Vmax and will be dragging my camera gear with me for the. This will include a couple of HD cameras and SLRs. So if anybody would like me to either a) hook up a video camera for in (or on) car footage for a run
Or b) try and get any action shots whilst you are honing around
Let me know; I'll be the grumpy looking unshaven one huddled down into a black North Face jacket (if it's raining!).

I'm not asking anything for this, just want to offer my 'services' to try and capture some stuff from the day. But of course, if you have a spare seat on any of your runs wink

Hope you have a great day and get some good footage.

Is there any 240V mains around? I'm bringing a laptop too for engine datalogging and the battery's not too great..

The cooler the better - my intercooler needs all the help it can get!

As resident photgrapher I always keep a keen eye on the weather... Although Brunters can be a law unto itself!

Depends which site you read/believe....

Metcheck: rain, quite a bit of it (usually pessimistic / downright wrong in my experience)

Netweather: some 'v light' rain (also usually a bit pessimistic but better than metcheck)

BBC: Some heavy showers (not very indepth, and usually pessimistic - see the pattern here?)

The weather channel: Partly cloudy, mostly sun. 20% chance rain. (Probably the best in my experience... lets hope their right!!)

I'm just trying to work out a more obvious way of giving the date away without just saying it's on ##-##-####.

Can't, sorry.

Really? I didn't realize there was only one day in the next 50 when it might rain heavily/rain lightly/have heavy showers/might be sunny & cloudy with only a minor chance of rain.... Oh hang on...scratchchintongue out

Just a thought, if anyone has a spare camera suction cup thingy it would be most appreciated.

For what sort of camera? I have a small one from Maplins http://www.maplin.co.uk/mini-camera-suction-mount-...

It's small though and won't hold much more than a compact camera, I normally use it with my bullet camera.
