Great lap, I have no idea how the 24 hours drivers do long stints of that.

Me neither ... very suprised that the TTRS is that competitive
it has got fancy suspenders, more power and fiddled brakes, but still, that is a good lap, the chap obviously knows the place and his car well bow

I wonder to what extent it's been breathed on. Youtube isn't playing ball for me at the moment. I do remember seeing a built-up 2.5 TFSI motor on an engine dyno, that pulled something like 750chp complete with anti-lag pops and bangs. Sounded epic...

I have ABT Stage 1 (officially 420bhp) but everytime we talk about performance tuning they laugh about ABT and I am not really satisfied with it. Engine Power really is a minor issue on a Northloop lap.

But to give you the full spec: - Brakes: OEM with additional cooling, Castrol SRF, Pagid RS29 / PFC97 - Suspension: KW3 - Power: ABT Stage 1 (Not satisfying) - Tires: Dunlop Direzza 03G 265/35 (90 Laps Northloop, 25 Laps GP) on ATS GTR 9,5x18

When I first heard of them I didnt think much about them.. I saw a few articles and a couple of videos and it changed my mind about their capability.

But if this was the first time I'd seen it on a track/performing then my mind would have been blown!

its a very quick lap!

I'm waiting for someone to have a go at shoe-horning the engine into a ur-Quattro, S2 or B5 A4. That would be a laugh...

That TT RS could have been a few seconds quicker but was held up by a Bimmer then 2 scooters and a Mk 4 Golf.

My fastest non-pro drivien lap as a passenger was 8:02 BTG, so the 7:39 is 'kin fast! thumbup

So you wanted a kit car, but you've already got a tuned TT?
