Driving home tonight up a hill outside a town.

Limit was 40 - I might have been doing 44ish as it was just before the NSL ... Gatso on the other side of road pointing down the hill and stripes only on the downhill side but two flashes and I am the only car on the road. They might have a nice pic of the front of my car.

Question - will they try it on with an NIP? Will it stick?

Nope.
Most likely youre safe.
If youre in ANY doubt, go back and park up, take a tyre and a half gallon of.............er no thats the last resort, sorry bout that.
Right, go back, park up and get out.
Go take a close look at "el gatso" and look at the upper left window. If you can see a lens then its a possibility, not definite.
If no lens, go home and booze it up and forget all about it.

Tonights helpful suggestion comes courtesy of Deltaf and Southern Comfort, sponsors of "Gas a gatso" ....
HTH.

AFAIK (the confirmation is on www.speedtrapuk.co.uk or something like that) Gatso's are only type approved if they are "set" for forward or rearward operation.

Consequently AFAIK they throw away any "forward flashes" they they generate.

Perhaps someone will know more precisely?
