Dropping the in laws at Gatwick tomorrow at half 2. Thought it might be nice for me and the good lady wife to stop off on the way back and have a late lunch somewhere, any ideas folks?

Is it really that bad over that way? No suggestions?

Where is FLG when you need her?

You might struggle at that time. Just looked at a few pubs around there/on your sort of route and they stop serving lunch at 2:30 pm.

This one I really like, part of the Goodwood Estate; http://www.angleseyarms.co.uk/

Trust you to prove me wrong Umair! But in my own defence, it isn't Good Beer Guide registered (yeah, I am that sad....)

So went to The Wiremill. Decent enough pub grub, friendly staff, lovely location which would be fantastic on a hot sunny day. Food was passable, dessert was a bit pants so I sent that back but all in all a good recommendation - cheers smile

There's a big Tesco with a cafe round the back of the airport ...

If you smile at the lady, she gives you loads of chips...

I picked a chicken lasagne thingy...

Turned out to be fish pie..

NomNomNom....
