Since fitting the bucket seat, my elbows hit on the bolsters of the seat when putting a bit of lock on (im a short arse) got a wooden nardi steering wheel think it must be a 360mm maybe bigger.. would fitting a smaller steering wheel solve this e.g a 330mm.. only issue with this is i won't be able to see the gauges.. is there any other options? eg putting a shorter hub on?

going to have to change the boss anyway, unless i go for another nardi, except they are a bit pricey at £200!

might have to sell my steering wheel to afford a swap, but don't really know how much my steering wheel is worth..

anybody know how much a wooden nardi torino 360mm mm with a bit of flaking and two small bits of damage at the bottom, is worth? wink

I don't personally like wooden-rimmed wheels; but if you're going smaller do you have PAS? You'd be surprised at the difference in force required.

If I go smaller, which I'm considering, I want a suede/alcantara one with a nice thick rim.

yer ive got pas, i do i do know what you mean.. ive driven an mx5 with pas and a 330mm steering wheel and it did feel quite alot heavier.. but i figured i would get used to it, will definitely make it harder to be smooth on the steering with a small steering wheel... would a shorter hub work?

As long as you're not dry steering should be fine, I've got a smaller wheel and it's much nicer to drive (imho) and easier to get in/out

there's probably a boat owner out there who might like it...

i have a 320mm wheel it's a really nice size but it does mean i can't see the top of my dials. you can still see which way the dials are pointing tho
