No points for years, and now possibly two sets in just a few months.

Today I spotted (early I hope) a suspisious looking police van parked on the verge. Not that hidden, but a bit sneaky in that it was around the area where a 30 turns into a 40 and visa versa. Suffice to say I was accelerating in "expectation" of the 30 turning into a nice straight 40 streach! *sigh*

Slammed the anchors on ASAP and coasted past at ~20mph, but I presume if he had a laser equiped car by the time I'd even seen him??? Whats the likelyhood that a small police marked (it had police written on the back) would be using radar rather than laser?

Here's to 14 days and counting.... I presume there is no easy way to contest these things anymore is there, but is there something "standard" I should go though to ensure everything is above board and proper?

I dunno mate. One of these days im just gonna HAVE to blast past one of these talivans muppets with no plates on at all and a tony bliar mask on (suggestions will be considered for the mask)........so, instead of a slow down, he gets a speed up.
Id give a tenner for a photo of his mug when he realises he's lost a good earner and has no way to id the miscreant.

i'd love to drive past make a note of the plates get some made up quick then drive past as close as possible to vmax past him and some scameras

sadly IIRC the man blair is barred from ever driving a motor vehicle while in power for 'security reasons'. (not 100% on this tho) even if this is the case there are many people in the cabinet to choose from and given that all policing these days is done by camera, theres virtually no chance youll ever be caught with a snyde plate.
