Bonnet pin broken help?

Hello I am a owner of a 1996 Chimaera 500 lhd. The polyester casing of my bonnet pin is broken. I already try to repear it with polyester repair, but this doesn't work. Can I buy this part??? (this is mounted to the inside of the bonnet) what to do???

Id suggest a Halfords fibreglass repair kit, and a sunday afternoon....

+1, an easy job as long as you line the pin up correctly.

I tryed but it wasn't strong enough, I have been by a profesional he said that a repair will never be strong. He can make a mould and then a new one. But it would be easier to find a second hand one or one that is already made.

Fibre-ron do you have the mould for the hinge pins moulding at the front of the bonnet?? one of the moulded in threaded inserts has worked loose, thanks
