No hostels in Leeds?

How about b&bs that will tolerate 4 drunken blokes.

How cheap does it need to be and is it central Leeds with a view to a night out?

It might work out more cost effective to get an apartment or commute in from outside the city by taxi.

It is just night out so somewhere just to crash for a few hours.

Would prefer staggering distance.

Cheapest we've found so far is 70 per room.

I'm more surprised at the lack of a hostel or anything, always managed to find one in other major cities.

Look at Headingley - not staggering distance to town but an easy trip.

Still strugling on this - everything seems to be booked up or pretty expensive.

Any suggestions?

Even grubby b&b's or pubs that do rooms etc?

Just stayed at Bewleys, they are doing lots of under £70 room deals and my room had a double, single and sofabed. if you're lucky you might even get breakfast thrown in.

Bewleys 82 quid a night.

Not too keen on the police station yet wink

Combination of bank holiday saturday and whatever is going off in leeds that weekend seems to have made things pretty expensive.

Does Leeds not have a youth hostel????

I use the Manchester one whenever I'm there and it is spot on.

When you first asked there were apartments for 4 available on your date at ~£170 per night - right in the centre of Leeds, they seem to have gone now though.

I spotted a number of £25 a night B&B places in Headingley the other night but you'll be lucky to find anything like that closer to central Leeds or at least within steady walking distance.

£5 on a taxi could save you ten times that on room prices.

Ended up in the Headingly Lodge - which is apparently part of headingly stadium - views of the pitch etc.

£50 quid a night for a twin.

Can't really complain and only couple of miles from the city cnetre.

Nice work, you can play the "can I see anyone *not* in fancy dress" game before you head into Leeds smile
