Sticker Application

What's the best way to apply big stickers without cocking it up and getting loads of air bubbles and creases?

Spray bottle with water and a few drops of fairy liquid in.

Spray both the vinyl graphic and the car, then place it on. It can be moved around on the surface to get the position.

Using a squeegee or something soft (not too soft) and flat, work from the middle outwards, making sure you remove all the excess water from underneath the vinyl.

I'm still ordering from Hollographics and receiving very quickly as i keep changing my mind.
Advice on application is to use lots and lots of water from the spray, to the point where the sticker will move over the film of water until you squegee it out. I put water on both the sticker and car to ensure
1. the sticker dosen't fold back on itself during a freak gust of wind
2. there is plenty to ease locating the sticker
Avoid doing it on a very sunny day as obviously the water dries out v quickly

Don't forget to use something fairly soft to squeeze out the air bubbles and water, so that it doesn't scratch your paintwork.

Oh, and i also put a small amount of car shampoo in the squirty bottle with the water, don't know why, but always have done and it seems to help

I've always used fairy liquid, might give the car shampoo a go.

I used a credit card wrapped in some kitchen towel - it's soft but easily manipulated, and also has the benefit of soaking up the excess water as you squeeze it to the edge of the sticker.

Fairy liquid got salt in it, not good for my old Caravelle, likely to rust the thing to death on contact :-)

Yeah, that's an ideal tool to be honest
