It's 06:00 hours and as it is a sunny day I'm taking the Wedge out for an early morning run and a great fry up in a greasy spoon!

As it happens I left the hood down overnight - good it didn't rain!

I nearly did the same ... left the hood down that is. Remembered at around 23:30 and popped out to cover "The Boneshaker" up. And I'm going out for a spin at around 7 o'clock - Streaky

Streaky -

Well, I had a good blast across the Marshes and back (between Clacton and Frinton) along relatively traffic free roads - roads a little dewy so didn't push too much but felt a little twitch here and there - this car seems to have so much grip.

Didn't find a greasy spoon so went shopping at the supermarket only to come out after 45 minutes - quell horreur - I left the keys in the ignition with the hood down as usual! Obviously the thieves and other scrotes aren't up that early.

I quite like the Wedge as a shopping car!

Postponed my early spin, 'cos SWMBO wanted me to go to the quacks to pick up a prescription for her. To avoid road-works I took a 50 mile detour! My head feels a little warm and will probably turn pink soon (#1 cut and little to start with anyway ) - Streaky

Unusually for me, I've just had three days of business trips in the UK (Worcester, Market Bosworth and Dagenham). What bliss, 600 miles of motoring in beautiful weather, hood down, in the Wedge and all paid for by the company.

Even at Ford's research and engineering division, it drew a crowd of admirers.

Gerry -

So what happened to Ford AVO at Boreham? Is the circuit still there?
